Amelia (Emelie) is the daughter of Gustav Dodt and Henriette Personke. She married Joseph Meiers in 1894 (Record C713) and died in 1939 (Record C3065). Emelie arrived in Australia with her parents on 18th of July 1873 from Pommern – she was 3 years old on arrival (born 1869/70). On the 20th December 1875 (on the birth certificate of her younger brother Wilhelm Heinrich) she was said to be 7 years old – the certificate also lists that she had a brother and sister who had died (no names or ages).
Amelia’s mother remarried on 14th of February 1880, marrying Martin Stoll in Maryborough. That relationship produced another sister, Henrietta (who was 40 years old on 11th July 1925, Amelia was 56 years old on that date)
